Emamul Haque


Emamul Haque is a social entrepreneur and has a strong passion for community work. He is an accomplished development and media professional with over 25 years of experience in training, advocacy, public engagement, and development communications in a global environment.  

Emam has flexibility, well-honed skills, deep insight and a thorough understanding of human motivation. In media work, his creative, interactive and impactful facilitation style has influenced positive policy changes. He is a tested facilitator with an engaging, entertaining and highly interactive style. He received an international award for his pioneering facilitation role.  

Emam serves the United Nations for over ten years and his international experience includes working for the World Food Program (WFP) and United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) as the head of advocacy & external relations. He also served various not-for-profit organizations in Bangladesh and Canada. 

Emam holds a Master degree in Management of Non-Governmental Organization and Social Policy Planning from the London School of Economics (LSE), London, UK. He also earned his bachelors’ and masters’ degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Graduate in Fundraising and Volunteer Management Program at Humber College, Toronto, he also holds a postgraduate degree in Population Science from the International Institute of Population Sciences, Bombay.
